Broiler Farm Energy Savings Webinar
EnSave hosted a technical webinar on November 2, 2011 to discuss opportunities for energy efficiency on broiler operations. The webinar covered the main energy use systems on a broiler farm, energy savings opportunities, and the importance of communication in meeting farmers’ expectations for Agricultural Energy Management Plans (AgEMPs)and implementation of recommendations from AgEMPs. Learn how equipment upgrades can save the average broiler operation 10-35% on utility costs.
It also included an explanation of EnSave's 5-step AgEMP process that EnSave goes through with the rmer to complete an Agricultural Energy Management Plan. The session was followed by a question and answer period.
