USDA's Rural Energy for America Program (REAP)
The Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) is authorized in the 2008 Farm Bill. This program offers grants and loans to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for energy efficiency or renewable energy projects.
Farm energy audits are required for all projects greater than $50,000. They also provide a higher scoring criteria for smaller projects. EnSave's farm energy audits meet all USDA REAP requirements. We can also assist you with resources to help with your application process. The cost of energy audits can be included in your REAP grant application.
